New bike!!!!

I have just bought my next bike a kawasaki ER6N 650cc i bought it before my test to give me someting to aim and look forward too as soon as i pass my test iv got a bike already waiting for me to ride staight away! if i fail my test il keep going in for it till i pass lol! hopefully i will though! its a great bike and iv been reccomended by friends its a great first big bike and the handeling is good my friends got one and she said there lovely to ride, iv still got my suzuki van van too which il keep for a run around and i may do my test on it! watch this space! i sat on the kawasaki and it felt right and iam nearly flat footed on it which is good my hubby test drove it and it sounded lovely iam just counting down the days for my training and test so i can enjoy my new bike for the summer! here is a picture of it.......

Good choice....can't really go wrong with the Er6 as a first big bike....easy to ride, smooth & plenty of poke for a new rider whilst at the same time very forgiving. My wife loves hers.

Now get that test passed!

Thanks guys for all ur nice comments and encouragement! yep cant wait to ride it, and have some fun! and simon regarding how much i payed for it is it was up for £3680 from our local dealer but he will put a restrictor kit on for me for nothing incase i do my A2 course on my other bike my beloved van van or he said if i do my direct access he will take the restrictor off for me for free which is cool he said if i do my A2 he will take it off after the 2 year period! again for free! so iam well happy with that as it takes the pressure off deciding what test to go in for! now i have the best off both worlds i can either take my van van in with me on the A2 course as iam really confident on my van van in these last 2 months iv been riding it! remember guys before i did my cbt i never ridden a bike before just used to be a pillian on the back off my husbands bikes but my instrutor said i picked it up really quickly and doing well so il see how i go's nearer the time what test il do! iam having a taster seesion on a bigger bike at my local training centre soon so il get proffessional advice on what the next step will be thats right for me! as they will assess me riding!, either way il have a nice bike waiting for me to ride staight away after test so watch this space!! thanks again guys glad u like my bike too

How old is it? Some of the earlier ones had problems with the engine mounts and exhausts - there are some threads here about those issues.

What colour powerband do you have fitted? Best ring the dealer and ask, red powerbands are for race use only and are unsuitable for the road.

yes its a great bike and its green like my van van so il only need to buy one set of leathers to match both bikes he he! yes u can look at it like that its a valentines present and birthday and christmas present etc etc lol iam a lucky girl
