Dont know if anyone else read the MCN this week?.
Two young lads have just done the LE-JOG thing on a couple of Chituma 125`s (CG clones).
Well done to them for completing the LE-JOG and doing it on 125`s and Chinese 125`s at that Surprised .

Smile Who needs the latest 10,000cc rocketship to do LE-JOG Smile Thumbs Up

Well done those lads! Clapping

It really shouldn't be a big issue - one way, the journey it's self is the sort of mileage plenty of people may ride in a week generally commuting and going for a bit of fun.
Even return, I'm not that impressed until we're talking approaching it like Marmalade did - with the main bit done in a single day.
Chinese bikes does add a bit of a lottery, but well prepared shouldn't be an issue really.

Yay, minor fame Laughing

I've decided on something silly for the hell of it every year since the end to end in one day last year.

On July 14th we're doing a different end to end but this time it ends in Germany but still doing it in one day.

Starting 6:30am at worlds end estate in london and going to End, Bad Staffelstein

https://g.co/maps/mgbtw

2013 is looking like a 'how far can you ride in 24 hours from calais' type nonsense.
My plan is 1500 miles down through Italy until I hit water or second choice would be the algarve but I've done that one before so italy is winning at the mo.

I've done 900 miles through the shiteness of british roads and traffic during one day so being over the water and having 24 hours should make it possible with a damn good dose of luck

fair play to them. I wouldn't fancy it on a 125.
I'd do it on my 250 scoot though

I still love it.

My other half flew to portugal, I opted to ride there 2 days before her.

I've got a replacement engine for the scoot and then i'm taking it to Brussels or Paris for a jolly if a suitable job to either doesn't turn up first.

Well, nearly time for better weather so the euro stuff should be rolling in a bit more in coming weeks. Get down some proper miles on decent roads without people trying to kill me.

Scooter? Piaggio?

I'm quite liking mine.
200 mile round trip to London saves me £15 in fuel and £2 in tyres.

A few of them a week saves me £200 a month. Whats not to be liking Very Happy
