Hi guys, i've finally taken the plunge and go myself on the road to 2 wheel freedom.

Waited a bit too long i think, and now at 30 I can't wait to get upto a big bike.

Have just this day purchased a cbf125 after doing my CBT 2 weeks ago. Have a question about a problem with the cbf, but I'll post that in the workshop section

Good on you, but why not just go straight to DAS if you want to get on a big bike? You can be licensed up in a week, might not die.

That was my original plan, but unfortuanately i'm currently chenging my shifts at work and don't know when I'll be off etc, so thought i may aswell get a 125 to run around on until i've done the theory etc. Been practicing on that and seem ok on the theory questions, lowest maek being 43, but the haz perception doesn't eem to make much sense, i see and react, but think i'm hitting it too early. Anyway, I will rpobably be able to sell the cbf for no loss when i get around to a big bike, so not much to lose and I'll be more experienced as a rider on the road

Awite, I'm in Kent too so if you fancy getting some practice riding in and don't want to go solo send me a pm Thumbs Up

I found the hazard perception to be a little bizarre and I have been driving for ten years! On the real thing you can hit the screen a few times so long as you don't do it too many times. What I thought was a potential hazard developing didn't gain me any points, and things that I thought were fine lost me points. Don't worry too much about it, just keep practising!

Definately needs organising.

Proper off with cornering at speed at the minuite - i.e slowing down excessively. Might help to see how its supposed to be done!

Its called learning and confidence...something you'll get better at in summer. This wet/damp spell isn't to great for cornering practice.

I'll happily have a ride with you at some point, I will be rusty as I've not ridden in around 2 weeks now Shocked
