Your threads are getting beyond pointless now.
You are just regurgitating facts from people in other pointless threads you make.

I've never heard them being mentioned as being especially great.

Other than a GP125 that couldn't get out of 2nd I've always found Suzuki gearboxes to be that little bit slicker and 'snickier' than the rest.

Is 'snickier' really a word, or an almalgamation of a popular chocolate snack and a lady's undergarment? A mate of mine went to school with a girl who'd entertain the science class by picking up mars bars without using her hands, but that is totally irrelevent...

If that's too much to give up at once, just do the third one first.

ya know what, for a good while i've sat back and thought to myself, that lupine lacuna fella is having a right hard time, poor lad, he's just enthusiastic and people are ripping right into him....

But you know what i've realised?

You bring it on your fucking self. You constantly spout utter tripe (which ill grant you is sometimes correct), presumably in the hope of being "accepted" by the online BCF community. Well your going the wrong way about it, because as much as i used to think people were being unfair on you, i now just think your a dopey cunt.

The advice given above was actually very good. Stop writing all this moronic drivel, and get out there and ride your fucking bike!
Stop spouting useless bollocks from MCN and actually go out and make your own opinions, then, maybe people will actually give a flying fuck!

Doesn't he live on one of the Channel Islands with something like 26miles or tarmaced road and a blanket 35mph speed limit?

I guess, that after riding all the roads forwards a few times, trying them again in the opposite direction; and filling the rest of the morning trying to see just how slowly you can ride without falling over; how quickly you can accelerate to 35mph without wheel-spin; trying to go round the entire coast road 'no hands'.... there's not a lot left to do.

Go home, make a coffee; read the financial times; watch a bit of French Day-time TV.... SURF THE NET!

anyway; I dont recall any particular 'legend' surrounding Suzuki Gearboxes in general; thier superlative construction or operation. Only one I recall as ever having been awarded any measure of greatness was the old oil boiler GSXR11's six speed lump, which was reckoned to be one of the most over engineered six-speeds ever made and capable of handing very large amounts of low rpm load; as needed in drag racing... only for it to be pointed out to such pundits that you dont really NEED a six speed gear-box for drag racing.... 10 seconds is not long-enough to make five gear changes!

all gsxr 1100's have 5 speed boxes.

Except the ones that have been fitted with GSXR750 gearboxes Very Happy

TBH the 'busa gearbox can handle over 500hp in stock form. That's pretty bloody impressive if you ask me.

the GSXR gearboxes are quite 'positive' on changes, and respond well to clutchless shifts, but i'm not sure where you've heard a lot of info regarding the performance of their clutches, as in fairness they are in no way better or worse than any of the other leading japanese manufacturers.
