I've just joined the forum here, seems a great place!

I've only had a bike since 2010 when I got one as a present for my 44th birthday, a great ybr125. I just passed my DAS in December last year and recently sold my YBR and looking for a new bike for the new season. Hmm, I think that's my complete biking experience in about 2 sentences, haha.

I'm looking forward to posting more soon. Very Happy

Welcome to the forum, you are in good hands. I've been helped no end over the last few months and i'm sure you will be too.

How did you get on with your YBR then? I very nearly bought one last month but have opted for the Honda CBF125 instead, may regret it, may not! I did my CBT on a YBR and it was very forgiving to say the least. What sort of speed and mpg did you manage on your YBF whilst you had her?

Hello!
I passed my full license last December too - lucky we beat the bad weather, huh?
Take care when you get your new bike, remember your training and never forget your life-savers. When you pick out your next bike, go and sit on a few, get test-rides if you can and make sure that you love it before you spend. Having said that, I bought a Versys without having even sat on one, never test rode the bike I bought but I absolutely adore it. I had about 5 hours out on it yesterday because the sun was out, and it was sublime.
Good luck and welcome.

I got on great with it, it was exactly what it's meant to be, an easy going learner or city commuter. Fairly nippy and agile around town it would cruise at 50 but about 70 was top I could get out of it. Dual carriages are not its natural habitat. Still around town I would get what they say at around 100 mpg.

Totally loved it and it did everything I wanted to do including going to the Farmyard Party last year. Sad to see it go but time to move onto something bigger for me.
