License question

Just done a search and couldn't find anything even though i'm sure this has been covered.

I used to have a full bike license but not a car one.

I'm sure I read somewhere on here, that if you get one license you get the other back.

So would if I went for my car license (much cheaper right now) would I regain my bike one too?

im guessing the term 'used to' means it was revoked or you where banned?
i know if iut was revoked after 2 years you get it back for free. dont know about a ban specifically but most mean re taking all aspects of licence

Lost it before 2years after being a complete and utter retard.

Reason being, I have my Car theory on the 17th March but already have my bike theory so, if I can't get my bike license back by default I was going to smash in the Mod 1 whilst I had the time and money.

If you had any other entitlements, like lorry or bus, on your licence before you lost it, you’ll need to get these restored separately. This can only be done by your local traffic commissioner, who may request that you retake a driving test for those vehicles

Does that apply to category A? I dunno, you'll have to ask.

Hi

No, only applies if you retake a test for a group you had which was revoked. Doesn't apply if you take a test for a group other than one you lost when your licence was revoked.

It is on the DVLA web site somewhere.
