Youre only talking about a 12 mile strip.

Take a look at the Tellico loop about 115 miles of fun

Then consider a run the Maggie valley SC just beyond the reservation youll find the "Wheels through time" museum of bikes,
A wealth of bike history and some really nice old board trackers there, I loved, old J.A.P. bikes I aint seen since I wasa young un.
