We have a lot of company bashing on here. This time though I thought I'd share a good experience...

I ordered my MCN oxford comfys via www.lidsdirect.co.uk in December and completely forgot about them until I saw the new thread yesterday. They didn't arrive so I sent an email to lids direct and this morning received a sorry and a paypal refund.

Given that it's been over 2 months they could've been arsey but no. I understand companies make mistakes (and the post is not always reliable), but the mark of a good company is how they handle stuff once it has gone wrong. If only they stocked handroids I'd be in their shop on saturday...



PS I feel all warm and fuzzy using my 1000th post on a well done rather than an argument or complaint

Had a terrible service from them and would never use them again!! Ordered a helmet that never came, 4 days later I had to chase them to find out where it was only for them to to tell me it was out of stock despite them checking before order was placed that they had any left! The same helmet is still listed (this was in January) for sale in my size on their website to this day!

When I phoned them the girl on the other end said she tried to contact to let me know, yet this was the same person who took my order and I not only gave her my phone number but my email address and she had sent me an email which had my phone number on it confirming my order. So she was obviously lying, only got an apology from some guy after I sent them an email complaining.

Have to say all my experience with them has been great. I bought a helmet at the NEC show but it didn't come with the high nose piece that HJC put in. Couple of months later and 100% sure that my helmet is supposed to have one, couple of emails later explaining why they didn't have me on there system and they had sent one out for me.

Ok the part that came was just the standard nose piece, but they tried and I felt I had bothered them enough for something that I probably won't use. I was surprised they even sent one out to me.

I bought my first helmet from them and on the back of that I bought my bike from their sister company downstairs from them in Watford.
