I was making a photocopy of my pass certificate for the insurance today and noticed the examiner had not put his name or signature on my certificate!!!!
After a while of totally bricking it I finally traced down the examiner, after 3 dvla depts and a call to a test center.
He informed me all is ok as they have my pass on record. He also suggested I should just post off my certificate for my license update as normal, perhaps with a cover note with all the details on to help speed things along.
So, I know your mind is like mush when passing your test, but you do sign to say you've accepted your certificate, CHECK THE DAMN THING!

My test centre were good they took my licence off me after the test and sent it to the DVLA for me. My updated licence arrived back in the post a week later. |

I had the same as Fuzz with the CBT, the guy simply put the wrong date and I was so happy didn't even notice! However the school was very good and phoned me the day after to inform me about the mistake and offered to come all the way to my house - about 16/17 miles - to drop a revised ont thru' the letter box!
After my pass on Tuesday the examiner took my old licence and organised for a new one to be posted to me directly. He suggested 2/3 weeks ... however hopefully it will be quicker! In the meantime I have my pass certificate to go out shopping for a bike!! ____________________

Interesting, so they arrange to have your license updated, PLUS you still keep hold of your pass certificate. Nice |
