Been in touch with 01raceFX regarding having the bike vinyl wrapped.

There websites https://www.01racefx.com/?q=gallery

After seeing Oli and Mark's bikes, and how well they turned out I'm after the same thing.

Oli's

Marks

He's asked me for ideas but I REALLY don't have a clue what I want, should I have something custom like that, or should I replicate a BSB/WSB design and modify it to match the bike? I obviously don't want all the carbon covering, I'd like a lot to be able to be seen through the design.

I Seriously need help, If anybody can post pics of what you think would look good, or even better photoshop it for me!!

Here's the bike so you can mock something up.

Your bike looks stunning as it is.

leave the wraps alone, it will just look like yet another chavved up Gixxer.

Oh, and the 2 bikes you linked pics to look shit imo...

Oli's bike looks alright

Don't like the other tho.

if you do get something, go really subtle, to the point that you hardly notice, thats the key to coolness in my opinion Cool Cool

or if you must go crazy wild mould breaker, keep one design/style, and only 1 or 2 colours.

or just leave it cos it looks good as is.

Dunno if i'm getting old - just looks like their trying too hard and a bit cheap and chavvy - each to their own though.

Seeing as you already have the carbon how about something along the lines of the Zonda Cinque

Not a massive difference but subtle looks better

EDIT: Actually apart from the red it's exactly the same as what you have Laughing

Why go into all that trouble with 01 Race FX... Sticker bomb the white bits instead! Have that urban look to it! Mind you, the cost and effort of laying up individual stickers, you might as well get a pre-printed stickerbombed/graff'd up vinyl sheet and apply it to the white.

Carlos knocked me something up, I quite like the idea, Opinions?

Carlos wrote:
idea behind the scheme is "Legends of Racing"

what you basicaly have is 8 sections (9 if you use the seat pod) of white on your bike, so just using those (mainly) you don't cover any of the Carbon fibre

so in the 8 sections you pick your six favorite racing legends like kevin schwantz, barry sheene, rossi, mick doohan, steve hislop, Joey dunlop etc etc
on each section you have a racing history wiki type description and there name.

As I know what a photo whore you are and want to get your bike in mags this may get more detail shots taken, plus people reading all the bits so you can show off your bike at the bike meets you probably hang around like a phedo at a play ground. it's also multi generational and appeals to leoads of different people as chances are you will have covered at least one of there favourite riders.

Never seen anything like this done before so I think it maybe an original idea and so a "one off"

what do you think?

just a representation of the idea, text would need to be fitted properly into shape with the sections

I actually like this idea.

https://i1215.photobucket.com/albums/cc517/carlos-kill-switch/legendsofracingbike4.jpg

although what would be brilliant is getting them to sign it. Then add their 'wiki detail'.

Also not sure on the text on the black, maybe stick to the white? Keep the contrast.

I like the second last one out of the list you posted Frost, but they're all a bit OTT for every day.

Maybe he should get some race fairings and get those wrapped?
