Theres two way of going about this...

Oil change interval is 3000 miles on the cg, you could leave it longer, but i woudn't reccomend it... in fact i did mine every 2000 miles...

Right way one... carry on like this, take it to the shop at the reccomended intervals (your manual should say, otherwise ask your honda dealership)

Way two... First go and buy a haynes manual, learn AT LEAST to check your chain* and change your oil, not only is it allot cheeper (provided you do it properly and leave it if your not 100% sure and have the parts/tools you need, never overtighten anything, first thing you will need is a torque wrench and socket set) but if anything happens when your in the middle of nowhere and your prepared you will probably be able to fix any stupid problems yourself, like do you know where your main fuse is? could you change a throttle/clutch/brake cable?
all of these will render you stranded, all can happen at any time, all of them can be fixed with the standard tool kit and which ever spare part in 5 minutes if that! not saying i carry those but if i'm going anywhere far i will...

Take the humble honda90 for example, popular pizza mobiles, most are serviced at regular intervals by dealerships, and those that are, are NEVER looked at in between, and for that reason they are lethal, if certain things are not checked and maintained in between its very bad news indeed... not all dealers are even all that good, ive had to fix two things done by a mechanic who is by all accounts quite good.

* if you dont check your chain it might one day put you in allot of trouble.... unlike cars if a major component fails you glide gracefuly to the edge of the road, on a bike it will flip you over and you will spend the rest of your shortend journey skiding down the road on your leathers..
