Which skill/skills would you most like to achieve,be they motorcycle related or not?

I would like to be able to do plastering on some of the walls in my house.

They make it look too easy on TV programmes like 'DIY SOS',but it is one skill that I cannot do.

I'd love to be able to do the stuff in that video. I'm terrified I'd break myself though. I wish I was braver and Youtube existed when I was 14.

Alternatively I'd love to be good at Kung Fu, instead of just average. I'd also love to learn to fly aeroplanes.

Another vote for this.

I'm an occasional drummer and I find it hard enough to get all four limbs doing different things at the same time; add in remembering words and getting them to come out of my mouth, in anything resembling a tune, and I think I would explode!

I would like to be able to play a proper instrument as well, like a piano or guitar, but I can't be arsed to do the practicing required, should've put more effort in when I was a teenager.

Play piano as well as I used to, wish I'd never given up, but I didn't like my teacher or the music I was playing, so quit instead of finding a new teacher.

22, quit around 7 years ago having played since I was around 5, don't think I've got the patience to pick it up again now though Sad

Strangely, its the one thing my parents say they regret too was giving up playing the piano

Then learn from them.

Decide what music you want to play (I'm guessing it won't be classical!) find a tutor that wants to teach you and have a go.

If you were good at 15, you can still be good now, don't let it slip, you'll regret it later.

I already have unfortunately, can't do much more than simple scales and arpeggios anymore. Perhaps once my life and career has settled down a bit in a few years and I've finished my training then I will attempt to pick it up again. If I started again now though, it would only be for a few months before I was off for 18 months training so may as well wait until after that if I do decide to

I know right. I can't sing or play anyhting at the same time, my brain doesnt like err...seperate and i end up fucking up one or the other or both. But I cant sing anyway so it's for the best.

I used to play guitar heavily. I agree, doing things when you're young and not stuck into the time sink of work and boring monotony of day to day living.

If I had a skill errrm. Master Forex trader, i'd be rich $£$

I wish I could play my guitar well enough to actually do it justice.

I wouldnt want to be as good as the likes of Jimi or Clapton but good enough that I could sit and actually make it sound like the songs I am attempting to learn!

I wish I could speak another language fluently. Maybe French or Spanish or something eastern like Cantonese/Mandarin/Japanese.

I'd like to be a much better mechanic too, I'm pretty handy have rebuilt forks and brakes and dabbled with electrics but the idea of disassembling an engine scares me.

Disassembling is easy. Putting it back together and having it work afterwards is the tricky bit Smile

LOL.

They aren't that fantastic, vintage and skilled...but I can think of FAR better geetarrrists.
I'm far from great but I tend to aim high Laughing Currently trying to learn Canto 34 from five finger death punch Laughing

BUT on topic..

I'd like to be able to do a decent level of programming and be able to ride better than I currently can, more so on the cornering/speed aspect.
