Im just curious as a ZXR 400 (when new) produces 65 BHP, and obv a restricter kit limits it to 33 BHP
But thats numbers to me and in physic's, things happen to work differently so I wanted to know how much does the 33 BHP restrict a ZXR 400 if anyone knows???
AKA does it still pull away with power, give out top end and hit the power band at 10k RPM???

It won't hit the powerband. Probably hit an indicated 100mph on a really long stretch of road. It'll have a big power increase compared to a 125 (assuming that's what you're used to). Low down in the rev range won't really be affected, but as you get higher it'll still rev but won't produce the same amount of power (obviously), and the revs will rise a lot slower than they usually would.

Thats fair enough, iv only rode a 600 up to second gear (about 25mph tops) and my zxr iv ridden 22 miles all in all to get it MoT'd and home and shiz, but was wondering how the restriction would affect it as im mostly used to a 125, but as long as it will continue to rev and act like a normal bike (although reduced power to what its actually used to) im not too bothered, cheers Very Happy
