Do they have Oompah-Loompahs?

Do they have a river of chocolate?

Do they have amazing lifting drinks?

If they answer is no, then sod 'em!

Oompah-Loompahs are way too cool for Cadbury's World.

no.

they have a factory - expect to see things that appear in factories - but behind perspex. expect to see bare corridors and rooms like those you'd find in a factory, but quieter and with less activity than you'd actually find at a factory because you only get access to old and obsolete lines.

Actually, having said all that, the diorama type scenes that you walk through and which depict 'key' moments in the development of chocolate as we know it are almost worth seeing and do indeed impart a lot of interesting facts. The excitement edge being lost though as they look like they were the same exhibits that the tour must have opened with - complete with layers of dust and cobwebs. The highlight of the tour (loose term as you simply walk round the place yourself following the footmarks painted on the floor) the highlight for me was having a taste of the drink that the Inca-type chappies developed - a mix of spices, cocoa stuff, honey etc - gorgeous it was, all 20cc's of it....or am I confusing that bit with some other , better, 'history-of-chocolate' place?...hmmmm

Has anyone seen the 'Jackass' fella 'Weeman' do his bit dressed up as an Oompah Loompah? Skateboarding through pedestrians etc with a fabulously rocky version of the Oompah tune accompanying the piece?
Now THAT's a classic TV moment let me tell you!

They have some funny kids bit there when I went last, I'm sure I remember sitting on some ride thing which took me through a well trippy world of little purple creatures and chocolate.

There again they may of drugged me and it could of been the actually factory. No I'm sure I remember floating round on some kids ride of some sort.

And you people that only got 4 bars of chocolate, you weren't trying hard enough. I lost count of the number of drinks I had of chocolate stuff and also how many bars of chocolate I managed to walk away with. But I am a cheeky northerner. Laughing

You're right! I remember now, some weird little train thing which is really very weird. I'd forgotten all about that.
