I've always had semi-shit gear and just manned up when it rains.
Now I'm starting a new office job. Dress code is casual smart, so looking wet and miserable is not an option.

I need a "waterproof" waterproof jacket and pants. I started with hein gericke and quite like the fit. I am not sure about the looks but you can't beat 5 year waterproofness guarantee.
What are my other options?

Army surplus waterproofs worn over or under your bike gear.

I've been using dainese goretex Philip jacket and Galveston trousers for my office job. Smart and do the job. Very warm and keeps me dry. Breathable so my pits don't sweat.

Highly recommended if you want to spend £500 (good investment) I got mine 6 months 0% apr. been using 5-6 days a week all weather no problem since September.
