I bought from these guys, came with knee armour but I bought the hip inserts separately. They're nice & comfy jeans.

Sorry, didn't read your post properly, I thought you were still shopping for the jeans themselves.
They're all pretty standard inserts - just search eBay for 'knee armour' or 'knee armour inserts' and you'll get a slew of results.

Our local Wickes DIY store do some very good decorators pads that go into Dickies style workwear which will do the job equally well. I've got some of the workwear trews too, only problem is that the pockets are on the outside. It's a simple job to convert them to the inside.

My kevlar jeans came with inserts. I took them out, and bought these:
https://www.ghostbikes.com/products/2432-knox-flex-lite-knee-guard-protectors.html

The problem with the armour in jeans as that, as jeans are a little loose, the armour can 'shift' inside the jeans if you ever had an off. Not what you want to happen at all!

The pads I linked to are specifically designed to be worn under kevlar jeans, they are basically an elasticated sock that holds the armour tight to your body, with a velcro strap to secure it in place. They are relatively comfortable, and IMHO are less noticeable as the jeans can still move around unhindered.
They cost £30, so are more expensive than 'regular' inserts however.

They're CE impact certified? Sure you're not thinking of a cheese sandwich?

Best armour inserts I have are the floppy rubber ones from Hein Gericke. Certainly worth the money. They do work!

Thumbs Up
