As of late i've become very creative and found it quite relaxing to make things. So here was a good chance to put a grip cover on the back of my CBR for the GF as she complained the bike was uncomfortable for her, saying that she would slide too much and find it difficult to enjoy even the shortest trips.

I can understand why, the seat is very slippy even for me as a rider so what to do i hear you ask? As I write this Hein gericke are selling them for about £5 but the materials i've picked up cost that too, the only thing is time.

Preparation
You will need the following:-
Grippy stuff - for example that mat material that stops tools moving in your toolbox is perfect, strong and obviously grippy.
Sewing needles or Sewing machine - the latter is the best option trust me!
Stretchy material - like the stuff found in boxers.
Velcro patches - to secure the seat, easiest option tbh.

I will post links and pictures soon. Not got time now (1:21am).
Hope this is interesting for anyone as my sewing skills are piss poor so I expect epic ridicule. Embarassed Laughing

I did something similar, although I didn't gay it up with sewing, sewing machines, underpants and velcro - I used a staple gun to attach it to the underside of the seat.
