vfr 400 front brake bleeding help!

my vfr had no front brake travel at all the minute you touched the leaver it was on,it only moved about 3 mm then the brakes were on full and slightly sticking,so i slakend the nipples to see if the cylinder would travel further and the leaver went all the way back so i let it go then tightend the nipples up,so now i have no brake at all so i want to bleed it back up but not as hard,but i cant cos if i open the niplle with a pipe on pull the leaver hold it in close it,then open it it just sucks the same fluid back in as if its just moveing the same fluid in and out,ive donr loads a car brakes and ive followed the manual is there a certain way to do it or could my master cylinder be faulty?

Loosen the nipple, pull the leaver in then with it held to the bar tighten the nipple back up and keep doing that then your brakes will work.

also helps to have a piece of clear tubing pushed over the nipple as this helpsto stop air going back in

a brake bleed bottle will cost a fiver from your local motorist shop..

make sure you start to dot he nipple up BEFORE the level reaches the bar. pull it in and let it out the tinyest bit and you could suck air back into the system
