Hi all, I'm new here so thought i'd introduce myself. I'm Drew, I have a 2011 YBR125 which I bought last year a few days after doing my CBT. I've got my MOD1 test booked for Monday and Tuesday, and MOD2 (assuming I pass MOD1) the following Thursday and Friday... then (again assuming I pass) I'm planning to sell my YBR and get something a little bigger.

I'm taking the test on my own bike so will have a restricted license for a bit, but plan on getting whatever bike I get restricted so i'm not too worried about that.

Anyway, enough about me... any local people use the forums? (South Wales) Any of you have suggestions for my next bike? I'm going to sell my bike and make up the difference so will have about a £2k budget so will be keeping my eyes peeled for a bargain!

Hi Drew & welcome to the forum I'm married to a Cardiff lass so that nearly counts as local There are 4136 threads on the forum about "which bike" so get using the search button my friend! My choice would be an Er6 which takes restriction nicely

I was looking at the ER6N's as a brand new option, but now have the more realistic £2grand budget to contend with.. still a competitor? I'd be over the moon if so! I'd better get on the Autotrader.

To summarise the already mentioned 4136 threads, vtwins seem to take the restrictions quite well too, but realistically the world is your oyster in terms of choice...
