Quite cool, but something of a white elephant from Yamaha.

A cruiser motor in a superbike style chassis with R1 brakes? Weird.... Thumbs Up

A bit like an imitation Buell then Very Happy . . . . erm, don't go looking into the prices of Buell's these days will ya all !

Except a Buell handles like nothing else and well stops amazingly aswell and costs 1/2 that and has same power from almost 1/2 the cc Wink

Must be fun riding the torque that engine produces, I read a few mods like a power commander can bring the power levels up a fair bit.

Haha, I'm only 19 so no midlife crisis. Laughing

Have been getting a little bored with the blackbird tbh. It does things too well and has so much unusable power for the road imo.

Recently had a go on my dad's new v-max and fell in love with the cruiser/sports-ness and sheer fun of it. Found myself having so much more fun on it than the 'bird. I think this may be the next best thing..

Aaah ! I see.

You are young & do not yet have a fully formed brain.

What's the insewerance on this for you?

& what possessed you to buy one over all of it's competitors, if you like that kind of thing?

Insurance is £300.

Care to name some competitors apart from buells, which I don't like.

B king, just as ugly but a motor that has to be restricted to 150mph cause cruiser riders cant be trusted with real Hayabusa power

That would make a Buell a 90kg bike. Are you sure?

if i wanted that much torque,i'd buy a tractor

which i already have, pointless bikes imo

Could you imagine how good that great fat dollop of torque must feel though?

The experience of riding a bike isn't all about high power outputs.
The lazy stomp of that engine must be nice. I mean its producing all that torque less than half way around the rev range for most bikes.

90hp is probably more than enough for the sort of rider who fancies one. I agree they seem rather expensive though.

I hear a power commander and a free flowing exhaust takes it up to 120hp or so.
