There aren't many bikes (IMO) More comfy than a CBR600F.
However, For all we know you could have long arms and short legs, and be comfortable on a ZXR750 or early '90's GSXR750.
You need to go out and try some bikes and see. If you've got a bad back for example, then a sporty riding position is best, as it puts little pressure on your spine, and your spine is aligned into a more evolutionary natural position. If you've got bad thighs or wrists, then it is often better to ride with a 'sit up and beg' stance like a Varadero, BMW GS or similar. Personally, I hate huge bikes, and I prefer the feeling of control I have over bikes with flat bars. My Street Triple is pretty comfortable and I can ride a lot further on that than I could on my Buell for example. My TT600 was probably the most comfortable bike I've ever owned, and its basically a copy of a CBR600F, as I said, I personally have never ridden anything which is nearly as comfortable as a CBR600F (or a copy of it) and comfort isn't everything. ____________________ British beauty: Triumph Street Triple R; Loony stroker: KR1S; Track fun: GSXR750 L1; Commuter Missile: GSX-S1000F; Cheap project: CBR900RR FireBlade
Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another. |

I went from a CBR600FW to a Triumph Sprint ST 1050. Originally I set out to get something totally different to the CBR ie naked / middleweight or even muscle, but I caved and opted for something more similar but different
It is, however, exceptionally comfy |

Marjays is right in that it all depends on your physical condition. I can't ride out and out sports bikes because of wrist pain (and yes, thats even going fast, )
The most comfortable bike I have ever owned (excluding my Goldwing) was a Tiger 955i and the next bike I get after my triple will either be a Tiger 1050 or a new Tiger Adventure purely for that reason.
But then I am an old fart! ____________________ Triumph Trophy Launch Edition |
