8k is not bad at all, brand new 450 smr or 690 smcr or hell a 2012 wr450 will set you back near 8 thou.

Yeah the AF bikes are worth a lot more. Not sure if they are made with new 500cc engines or the old engines are put into different bikes but Honda literally build the bikes specially for it. There are very few around.

IIRC, Kawasaki do one aswell.

Funny because I don't usually look at a lot of bike stuff online, but I've read the thread on another forum of what the guy done to that bike.

By the sounds of the thread he builds bikes up for the hell of it and them moves on to another project.

He had a name for that bike IIRC, 'black something-or-other'. Must be a bloody expensive hobby.

That's around what I saw a maico 700 (or so) go for - though the Maico still needed a fair bit of work it seemed.
