Housemate has had three of them since the day they came out and they're very impressive.

One 7970 gives better fps and smoother running that a pair of crossfired 6990s.

The 7970 runs high resolutions much better than the 69x0 cards.

They use a lot less power than the 69x0 cards, about 250w per card when overclocked.

Only slight problem at the moment is that the drivers are still in beta.

They're good, once they release the specific 79x0 cards I'm after I'll be running them in my system.

10/10 Mr. Green

I might sell my 6990 and just put my 5870 back in. Lost interest in playing games and could put the money to much better use.

So already very good and once drivers have been perfected even better. Sounds like a plan to me.

Yes, they're fucking awesome, I now have four of them for my new system. Mr. Green

Anyone want to buy a pair of watercooled 6990 Asus HD cards for £600?

2 for £600?

Isn't that a bit cheap?
