Me and a few friends entered ages ago and we're pretty psyched for it!

Doing it on the 12th of May in the Midlands with an 11am start.

Really? Prices are a bit more now, but I paid £90 for a challenging day with my mates and an afterparty?

The challenge itself may not be a whole day thing but it'll be a laugh and if you budget for it per month (if you do it early enough) it barely made a dent to my monthly outgoings.

Looks good! I would sign up but I'm ripped after signing up for the Spartan Race in Cambridge and Survival of the Fittest in Cardiff. I signed up to do 6 miles for sport relief with my friend as he wanted company but now the bastard has jacked it so I'm doing it by myself!

When Bristol goes on sale I might just sign up...

As a one off it's affordable but if you're doing quite a few similar events in a year it starts to add up. The Manchester Marathon is the most expensive one I'm doing this year and I thought that was expensive at about £40. Most events I sign up for are around £20.

Each to their own as you say. It does look fun though!

I would like to try one of these, but suspect the running will kill my back - so quite liking the Spartan James has posted as it's got a relatively high number of obstacles per mile over a shorter course.
