Hi guys I'm helping out a young mate who has bought a Yamaha Jog RR scooter and it needs a new big end and conrod.
Now I know the crank needs to be pressed apart to change the pin and bearing but does anyone have any advice on getting it all pressed back together (I have a press and measuring tools etc)
or are we better off taking the crank (its out now) to someone that does motorcross bikes etc?
cheers Jim

I heard Warped only needs 2 strokes on his crank to get his big end away. [BOOM, TISH]

If I were you I'd just replace the entire crank for a performance item...

already bought the con rod kit now tho Embarassed
I'm thinking of just making a small jig to clamp the flywheels together and press the new pin straight thru on top of the old one then see how tru it still is on v blocks?
