hi evry1,
just a quick question,my nsr 125 r,is fully deristricted British version, its had its sprockets fucked about with it,so at the moment it goes 0-60 like stink, but only does about 80 top speed, thats not what i am bothered about though,my problem is,it does'nt matter what gear i am in,it won't do over 10,000 revs, not even in 1st,just wondering if any1 here has a clue about whats wrong,if so it would be a great help, thanks

Matt

Possibly a problem with the carb/throttle not opening fully.

you need to be at a higer rpm when you change up so that the bike's just coming into the powerband in hte next gear.

either way.. if the bike cant get past 10,000 revs and not more that 80mph.. there is something quite wrong with it.

Its not sprockets.. cause the acceleration and top-speed are screwed.. check carb/spark plug/petrol filter first.

The 80mph probably *is* to do with tthe sprockets being changed... which all makes sense with the better acceleration.
