Windows Server Domain Trusts

[t121anf]

anyone shed any light on this.

Current Domain
Windows 2008

Old Domain
Windows 2003

in the current domain I have setup some servers which need folder redirection for user accounts.

The file server with the folders is held in the old domain.

Which direction do I need the trust?

I have set this up in a development environment and it works, but i used a two-way trust and i don't think that's necessary.

Current domain needs to trust the old domain for authentication, I think it's an outgoing trust on the current domain.

Edit other way around! Misread it, so it's an incoming trust on the current domain.

finally implemented this and it seems to be working as expected.
