Ordered a clear one and one turned up that's lightly tinted blue
However, I'm willing to give it a go if there are any particular advantages. I know that yellow lenses are allegedly better at night; advantages or disadvantages of the one that popped through my door today, or should I send it back for an exchange?
Thanks in advance for any help.

This article would suggest that I ought to send them back, though mine are nowhere near as tinted as the one's in the article. ____________________ Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable. |

True and untrue at the same time.
Yellow lenses reduce glare... but at the same time they also reduce the amount of light passing through to your eyes.
I've got some which I occasionally use for night flying, but for the most part they're worse than nothing at all. There's some situations where they're beneficial though.
When driving or riding at night they may be better suited, theres more ambient light and lighting distractions such as headlights, neon signs etc... they'll filter out the glare a bit better |
