Just got it today! What a machine.

It's an old (1991) model, F2, but it's bloody lovely to ride. Blows the GPZ500 out of the water in handling & power Very Happy

Just been for a quick blast on it, just seems to corner effortlessly, like I don't really have to do anything it seems.

Are there any mods you can do to these bikes? New can perhaps? The stock one seems strangled. Big black thing it is. Any sort of swappable parts with the newer F models?

Well happy with it, anyway. Smile

Are they quite reliable engines? The bike is in good nick for the age I'd say!

They probably get raced in the steel frame series. Look into what people do to make them faster and pick something Laughing

Oh it's plenty fast enough!

I just wondered if there are any sort of "standard" mods people do to them to make them more reliable etc. Or make them look cooler. Ha. Need some decals for it now!

My mate just fitted a Beowulf can on his and it looks and sounds a 100 times better.
He's got a scorpion can up for sale as he bought it but it was for the oldere model I believe.

It seems quite fond of bringing the front end up when you have a pillion Shocked

Would leaning over the bike help this to go away? I didn't expect it at all the front wheel just came up.

Bought my 1997 600f as a winter hack.

Great bike, goes, stops and handles superb and as gixxerchick says, sounds great (micron can).

Ever increasing age and waistline means it gets a bit uncomfortable after an hour or so but great fun Smile
