I have lost the final spare ear bud for my JVC headphones,

now, these occasionally when worn under a helmet for over 40 mins or so, started to cause discomfort from being pressed onto my ear by the helmet.

Can anybody recommend any nice, slim, soft earphones that are decent?

No.

Wear earplugs and save your ears. Listen to some music when you get home.

Creative Ep 630 pretty reasonable but seem to be lasting.

My qjays are amazing, expensive but combined with comply memory foam ear buds they are best you are gonna get for under a helmet if you ask me! They were branded as the smallest earphone in the world at the time they were released and they are dual armature so sound quality is incredible.

Again very expensive if you can still find them, I got a set for £80, but for the amount of music I listen to they are worth every penny.

I wear JVC headphones from argos, with memory foam earpieces - very comfy as they adapt to your ear shape and quite cheap.

You dont have to fix them into your helmet, I just slip mine up the side so there is no dangling wire when not in use.

I bought a single speaker version that looks very similar to these, but I can hear naff all over 30mph when they're plugged into my HTC sensation. Are these any better do you think?

Thanks!

Sorry to be maybe daft but is it legal to listen to the music while on the bike? And sounds bit dangerous as well.

I even don't do it on my push bike, because I feel I'm not aware what is going on around me. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I'm new here.

Might be just me, being too cautious

I think it is legal. Its the same as listening to it in a car as far as im concerned.
I never listen to music because it would just distract me.

It's not illegal, no.

I don't listen to music on my pushbike, but I can hear things around me when riding my pushbike.

You can hear naff all on a motorbike, especially when you're wearing ear plugs anyway!

I've been trying to find a speaker/earbuds to listen to GPS instructions, just haven't found any to work at high speed yet!

Just noticed that the headphones I recommended are possibly the same ones OP has.. D'oh!

Anyway, also agree, I wouldn't listen to music on my pushbike, but that's because on a pushbike you can hear cars, pedestrians etcetera, whereas on a motorbike all you can hear above about 40mph is the wind anyway.
