Right, a test that costs £15.50 and takes 20 minutes is "worth" spending hundreds of £££ and hours on practicing.
It's not hard, or expensive, or lengthy, just book it and work on the things that you fail on, until you don't fail.

If you already have a bike, I'd recommend getting the theory out of the way because it's piss easy and cheap. Then like roger said, do the Mod 1 until you pass. Then once you've got some miles under your belt, do an hour or two of lessons then sit the Mod 2. I don't see the point of loads of lessons when you have a bike of your own and miles and miles of public road to practice on. ____________________
