When pedalists stop running red lights and riding across zebra crossings, I will stop running them over.

Snake Pass? Isn't that in America? Are you an Amerifag cyclist, coming onto a British forum, asking us to give you space? How much fucking space do you want? Is an ocean not enough?

Either way, allow me to be one of the first to say, GTFOff the road, no one gives a shit about your passion for riding, you lycra clad wankers are a nuisance and a thorn in societies side, you insist on getting in the way of faster moving vehicles, expecting us to slow down for you?

Honestly, perhaps if you had better obs you would have seen said motorbikeist? The amount of cyclists I have almost hit because of their piss poor obs is unreal, the worst ones are the ones who think they are going fast on a bike and not realise everything else around them is faster and they are just holding people up and pissing people off, or the other ones who insist on warming up in the road by cycling in a circle, or those wankers who believe in riding more than two abreast, or a gaggle of gammon slipping tosspots riding two abreast when there is about 12 of them making overtakes tricky.

GTFO! And take your homosex lycra and shitty cycle with you, you complete bumstick.

Thumbs Up

edit: Ahh snake pass Derby, maybe I am thinking of snake mountain or something snake in America, either way fuck off, or fit some mirrors to your bike so you can see traffic approaching from there rear, then learn some obs.

The only reason you got into that situation was your own fault, perhaps if you had better obs or were paying attention to your surroundings this wouldn't have happened, I know I have never had a motorbikeist do this to me Wink

Are you expecting some kind of apology because one biker nearly hit you? If a car nearly hit you would you ask a randomer to say sorry?

The bikers point of view:
'Hmm this is a nice road...oh theres a cyclist, better slow down a bit and be nice to hi......holy crap, what the hell did he just swing out in front of me for just before a corner....'

and had he had to brake suddenly, you would have no doubt hit him up the arse. then due to the fact that you are uninsured (not to mention no tax and no licencing requirements, yet travelling faster than a 50cc ped can) he would suffer the brunt of your riding too close at 45mph, in the form of an insurance claim, and increased premiums for the next X years.

if you feel scared on the roads, stay off them Thumbs Up Rolling Eyes

Yeah I edited it, trying to remember what the frig that road in America is called, usualy involves Harleys trying to navigate the corners and grounding out on the exhausts, Just found it, Tail of the Dragon, close enough for me.

Either way OP is foggot, have to agree with Groovylee, piss poor obs, no awareness of the road he was on, sat up a cars arse, no insurance if he hit the car, car driver would get blame if the foggot died from ensuing accident, all in all an horrific situation for the car driver, because the OP is a bag full of douche, not like he would be wearing any protection either if he came off, just a lycra suit and a helmet.

This post could have been avoided if OP wasn't a gammon slipping bum trumpet Thumbs Up

Nice to see the sort of responses here. Just wanted to check if anyone on a bike forum had anything interesting to say or could string two sensible sentences together but it does seem the stereo-type of the average biker is true - you mainly just a bunch of twats. Good to know...

No point in having a go at us for your own failings, you failed to notice an approaching vehicle, what are you? Retarded? I bet of a car failed to notice you till the last second you would be upset, grow the fuck up and realise your own mistakes you donkey gobbler..

Don't back peddle (see what I did there) about checking out responses, you came on here to bitch and moan about your own failings in life that you can't see because you're an idiot. "no it wasn't my fault I rode into the side of someone, I didn't see them" don't bleat ignorance like some sort of child molester who thinks his cat download porn for him, man the fuck up and realise it was your mistake for being a doughnut smuggler.

Honestly, is this country being dumbed down by retards who have no idea how to think for themselves Rolling Eyes

I by no means agree with the op's decision to come onto this motorbike forum and complain about the actions of one motorcyclist however not all cyclists are bad people a lot of us myself included have several other vehicles for which we do pay road tax on and if im not out in/on one of those why should i not be able to enjoy the roads i am still paying for, and some of us do have liability insurance that would pay out in the event of an accident.

In my personal opinion and as a result of my experience of cycling on the road i found motorcyclists to be far more courteous then the average cager.

back on topic though... could the op please crawl back into his hole ?

Did you actually read my post? If you as a motorcyclist were _directly_ behind a car and one of your fellow kind suddenly cuts you up out of nowhere and starts leaning into you with inches to spare you'd be happy with that?

Its amazing how ALL of you whine about safety on this forum and winge that car drivers dont treat you with respect - yet you couldn't give a feck about anyone else - good to know

I hear it is because the sperm from the pre ride circle jerks is either hidden by the ghey patterns or washes out easy, need a reliable source though on that

So you join a forum with 23,548 members (considered active), rant at them, get replies from maybe 8 different people (roughly 0.034%) and think that makes all of us twats?

About what; would you like a discourse on the operation of the internal combustion engine? Or the four dimensional equilibrium in play whilst cornering a motorcycle? Perhaps, an brief history of the UK motorcycle licencing Laws? Or a light conversation on the merits of hanging off verses counter-leaning?
sfichele wrote:

This is entirely possible; though it would rather depend on the subject of discussion.
Random Cyclist ranting about a Random Motorcyclist, on a Motorcycle Forum, isn't REALLY a sensible topic.. hence unlikely to generate 'sensible' responses, REALLY!

How do you think it would come down if I came onto a Push-Bike forum and started ranting about inconsiderate mountain-bikers hacking along the FOOT-PATHS of Cannock Chase or the Snowdonia National park, and moaning that my dog 'got in their way'?

Hmmm.... stones and glass-houses, me thinks!

I think you are just jealous you cant excuse your leather fetish and gimp fantasies on riding a proper bike..... or MAYBE you hoped said 'leather fetishist-gimp' would pop up on here in reply to your post, and could 'initiate' you into his pedophile ring?

but it does seem the stereo-type of the average biker is true - you mainly just a bunch of twats. Good to know...[/quote]

No, but I have mirrors, so I am fully aware of what is approaching from behind, and if I see a faster vehicle approaching from behind, I do as the highway codes states and allow them to pass in a safe manner and slow down if needs be, by the cunning use of my mirrors alone and spacial awareness, I have yet been cut up by a biker, or anyone else?

Yet you have Thinking Wonder why that is?

Do cyclists use mirrors? No. Maybe they should?
