Ahhh! Hello my pretties.

Yesterday morning I woke up, in my bed (ho' shit no way?)... after having a dream about my ex-girlfriend. We were in a club, I was telling her to go away. Laughing . It felt incredibly real. It has been the first time since we broke up I have dreamt of her, which has been almost 8 months now.

It was a messy break-up, she had a healthy dose of physco-bitch about her at the time, but that's another story.

I got up, walked into the kitchen to make a coffee, and looked at my phone. No messages.

Bearing in mind, 5 minutes ago I had been dreaming of her so vividly it was bizzare.

Beep. 1 new message. Beep again.. 2 messages. She was in a club at 5am.. and she had sent me 2 messages..

Saying she wanted to meet up for a coffee, and missed me.

WHAT. THE FUCK.

Felt like pouring the freshly boiled kettle juice over ma eyes. I felt creeped out.

Anyway, anyone got any similar stories to calm me down a bit?

This one time I was thinking about this one time where me and my mate andy had gone to a club and got up to all sorts of crazyness.

30 minutes later he phoned me - I SHIT YOU NOT.

Then there was this other time when I was thinking about my ex, and she didn't phone or text me, again, no fucking joke.

I get a similar thing happen quite frequently - i'll be sitting there thinking 'Oh, I haven't spoken to person X for a while, I must give them a bell'......couple of minutes later the phone will ring and it'll be the person I've just been thinking about.

It could be psychic waves being broadcast across the ether, it could be Jung's concept of Synchronicity and/or the 'First Insight' that Redfield describes in 'The Celestine Prophecy.........or it could just be mere coincidence.

How many of you have picked up their phone randomly for it to go off in your hand!

They say the human brain can detect small fluctuations in electromagnetic waves Thumbs Up

More likely to just be predicting the time for someone to text, perhaps based on previous texts. The simplest things can often appear to be "magic".

A very small number of times in comparison to the number of times I've picked up a phone and no one rang.

Haven't you seen inception?

Last night I was holding my wife's phone because she was on call, and wanted me to wake her up if her phone rang until I went to bed, at which point I had to put her phone next to her. As I did so, it rang and she had to go out... Seemed weird at the time.

QFBTC. Thumbs Up

Me and my brother Paul get this kind of thing at a frequency that puts it beyond coincidence. What explains it is that we'd be twins other than being born 11 years apart. Our brains are structurally very similar and thus tend to process the same way, causing thoughts to happen at the same time in the same way (during direct comms I should add, it doesn't happen otherwise). It was kind of freaky until we worked it out.

They don't foretell the future, but when you sleep and dream your brain is rationalising a lot of stored information.
It's remarkably like Windows doing an overnight defragmentation.

Without thinking about it you are gathering an overview of your life at the time, and conclusions made by dreams are not to be discarded lightly.
The dreaming mind can make wise observations, often masked in humour or outrageous metaphors for people and situations that are important to you.

Confused How would that work? One half of a split embryo frozen for 11 years before being implanted?

Or was you not being literal?

Not literal, just the physical similarities.

You are more closely related to your (full) siblings than your parents or kids because you share more DNA.

I get it a lot, bit freaky because if I have a bad dream I get scared it will come true. Laughing

Also had it where I've woken up in my dream and not actually woken up.

Also the ultra real dreams you take very seriously (very annoying when it works out for you in your dream, aka getting with some fit bird you work with for example Laughing) Very nice when something really bad happens, like thinking I've lost my license or gone to jail only to wake up realising its a dream!

I love/hate dreams. Neutral
