My first thought was that it is a 600 Genesis, but it could be a 1000. I don't think the 750 ever looked like that. There was an air/oil cooled FZ 750, but I don't think there was an FZR750 like that. Certainly not until much later on anyway.

Definitely not a 1000 or 750,but the Jap market 400s did look very similar.

The trick in USA proddy racing was to slot the 600 engine into the ally 400 frame.

I think you are confusing teh FZ600 with the FZ750.

The FZ750 was watercooled. The original FZR1000 engine was based on the FZ750 lump. I've owned two and Kickstart is a FZ fan as well.

As others have said, it's a FZR 400. Only FZR with that style seat is the 400. That being said, there is a (small) possibility someone's stuck a 600 lump in it, in which case the value goes down if anything but it'll make a seriously fun track bike. Or road bike come to think of it.

I bought a fully MOT'd EXUP Foxeye model for £675 last year. So no, its probably worth about £200.

Looks identical to my FZR4003en2, but in slightly better nick. Sold mine on here for £200, as a project, then ended-up almost completly assembling it for collection just to make sure all the parts were there Very Happy
