anyone got tomtom maps?

Hi, Im looking for a favour from someone really. does anyone have the UK maps for a tomtom one satnav (the one with the SD card)? my card has become corrupt somehow between last using it and now wanting to use it, i tried to download some maps from online but it doesnt seem to be working, is it possible that someone could make a copy of their SD card so i can try it in my satnav and make sure that that is the problem? dont fancy spending £80 on one from tomtom/ebay only to find that actually ...its the satnav thats screwed too!

The maps are tied to your sat nav via a serial number, if you had a made a backup it would have worked on only your TomTom.

You need to dig deeper on the net, you can download the maps and there are tools to change the serial number to match your device and then so work.

oh right, i didnt realise that. i'll look into it more online then and see if i can get it sorted. thanks for the advice though. - i'll be making a backup next time Wink
