Last month on 7 February 2012, my friend Laurence Bickham was hit by a bus whilst riding his zx6r in Brighton. His girlfriend was on the back. Unfortunately, Laurence did not survive, but his girlfriend did. This is the feature in the Argus: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-sussex-16984152



His girlfriend, as well as all Laurences friends, are trying to get signatures for an online petition to put blind spot mirrors on buses and HGVs. Laurence was an avid supporter of MCN. I am hoping that as many people as possible can sign this petition. It takes a large amount of signatures (100,000) to get this campaign recognised so please sign up. Signed, but all the blindspot mirrors and hi-viz jackets in the world won't get bikers seen if the driver doesn't look for them. Sadly our fate is often in the hands of others
