Having only been on the road 6 months I have to say..truck drivers seem to be a lot more courteous than car drivers, in that they'll actively give me space and move over when i'm filtering.

On the flipside, Audi drivers are cunts. Almost every single time i've seen someone driving like an absolute cunt it's been an Audi.

No offence if you drive an Audi..it just means you're a cunt Thumbs Up

Audi's haven't been an issue to me, it's been BMW's. It seems to me, if you drive a BMW you think you have the right to be a cunt. If a car is ever really close to my arse then invariably its a BMW.

A bit controversial I realise but my vote goes to scooter riders. I am constantly buzzed and cut up by them on my daily London commute. Most seem to have their throttles constantly stuck full open and a complete disregard for their own and others safety. Get sick of being inappropriately undertaken at junctions and my safety gap being invaded at traffic lights. I am no slouch when commuting but I do attempt to use a bit of common sense and pay a bit of respect to other bikers.

There is one car make I'm surprised never come up on that list gixer found Volvo Drivers my three main enemies if you can call it that on the road are Volvo, BMW and Audi.

Volvo drivers are one of the worst though as they think they are high and mighty or that is what I perceive one pulled on the roundabout in front of me as I was going around about 20mins ago and then looked at me as I was in the wrong.

Same I can say about BMW drivers.. they don't use the bloody rear view mirrors when sitting in the fast lane.. Even when I'm driving a car they don't notice my little Vauxhall behind them until I flash my lights Twisted Evil
White van drivers obstruct fast lanes too.

One brand in Angry drivers list is missing... Jaguars - bloody blind pensioners drive those.

I witnessed an Audi filtering the other day. It was actually ridiculous...I normally filter there but it's just enough room for a bike,

This bloke did it in his car...into the oncoming lane...all the way down the long road, wrong side of keep left bollard past around 30 cars with busses coming the other way. Needless to say I kept waaaaaaaay way back

Anyone in an enormous Kia vehicle. Impossible to see past them, they are oblivious to everything around them, always stopped in the worst possible position at lights so I don't feel comfortable getting beside/in front of them and if the driver is older than 30 they tend to drive about ten miles under the speed limit then randomly speed up and then slow down a bit and weave all over the place until the only thing I can really do is pull over and plan a new route.

Whenever there is a nice wide lane leading up to a red light and all the cars are perfectly aligned to the left so I can glide up to the front, there will always be some shitty cheap Kia the side of a dumptruck fucking it up by being over to the right (but not indicating right) somewhere in the queue and I have to decide if I want to cross to the other lane and just throw myself under the traffic turning down this way from the junction. Godfuckingdammit every morning.

Truck drivers especially, seem to have their own ettiquete for helping each other out on the roads.

eg. If you ever see a truck struggling to pull out of junction then 99% of the time it's another truck that slows to let them out.

Why can't all motorists be like this?

Because its human nature to want to belong to a 'group'

Its why bus drivers let out other bus drivers, why truck drivers flash other truck drivers back in and why motorcyclists nod at one another.

They all relate to what the other person is experiencing so want to acknowledge it in some way

Got some truckers in the family. Most notable was my Granddad Jock. Was taught to respect 'em so I think nothing of stopping to let a lorry go first, or slowing down and giving them space if they're trying to do a turn.

Alternator blew in mum's van years and years ago. We were pulled up on the Long Ashton bypass. Out of the 50+ cars that must have gone past, the only person to stop was a lorry driver who'd seen the smoke from a way back. He took us to the garage and waited until he knew we were going to be all right.

The small communities you see within the different vehicle groups can be somewhat inspiring to see sometimes.

Audi & BMW drivers are cnuts (sweeping generalisation) because they are middle management in company cars and think they are a bit better than the rest of us because they listen to Coldplay and Jeremy Clarkson's 'driving songs'....

4x4 drivers are cnuts because (sweeping generalisation) they don't actually need a Tonka Toy, they are invariably wannabe wide-boys or school-run mothers who can't reverse, and they think they are better than the rest of us because they listen to Taylor Swift and Shania Twain...

White Van drivers aren't cnuts because they are at least predictable. They know they aren't better than the rest of us because they listen to Radio 1.

Truckers are ok too because they have to be consistent or they are late. They eat Yorkie bars, listen to C&W and pick up prostitutes. They also tend to wear checkered shirt/jackets and smell of 'cab'.

I drive a Berlingo and am proud, as Berlingo drivers are the best in the world. We listen to whatever we want to, wear whatever we want to and just don't care. I've heard all the jokes, but if anybody thinks they have something original to say - bring it...

There, fixed that for you.

Wink

My personal pet hate is people who have a tissue box on the rear parcel shelf, and anyone who either drives whilst wearing a hat or has a hat on the rear parcel shelf.
When I'm driving and I see any of the tell-tale signs in the car in front, I know it's going to be a long, slow journey.

2.0 diesel Audi's and BMW's are driven by company car drivers and therefore driven by morons.

Large petrol engined BMW's are good and generally driven by enthusiasts. You do get the odd twat driving an M3, but still.

Screw practical! I don't own a single practical vehicle and my life is much the better for it.

I hire a van for the occasions where I need to lug summat around.

I'm not sure 007 would have quite the same impact if he turned up in my yellow smart roadster, nor the equally yellow classic fiat 500 although he might just pull off the monster Wink
