It's blue, it's a 2000 Yamaha R6, the screen looks disgusting, it's located in Barnsley and the seller has no idea how to write an eBay ad correctly.

Advised. Thumbs Up!

Advice is is go and look at it before you even think of bidding, he's a dealer so he wants to make a profit, how rough does it actually look in the flesh??

That seems cheap. Low mileage too!

I'd be wanting to view the bike first. I'd take cash with me and buy it there and then if you're happy.

The guy can't spell, or write correctly at all. For this reason alone i'd want to see the bike in the flesh before doing anything.

That mileage is also incredibly low, but he doesn't mention it in the ad. Why wouldn't that be your main selling point? Maybe it's actually 40,000 miles, or maybe he's an idiot. Oh and 'some old MOTs', hmmm. I'd want that mileage verified if it was me. Thinking

I'd be wondering why it's only got 6 weeks MOT left?
If it's such a fantastic bike, why doesn't the seller get it MOT'd for a further 12 months?
For the price of a new MOT he could get a higher price!

I don't for a second believe a 2000 bike will only have 4509 on the clock....

And his spelling/grammer are atrocious....

Have a look in the flesh, no harm done if you spot something out of whack then

12 year old.
4K miles...
Repainted panels.

Even a summer ride only should manage more than that.

Spelling, nowt wrong given the bikes location....

Someone mentioned it was a dealer, yet it only has a mobile No.

More points to walk away, than to go and have a look Shocked

All seems to good to be true!. I don't like something that has has a paint job why has it had a respray!.

I think I won't be going to have a look 80 miles away from me, I think I'll hold out for something else!.

80 miles, I'd be inclined to go have a look. Take someone with you for moral support. If that mileage can be verified by MOTs I would be happy paying that.

Buy a set of chinky fairings and get the originals painted up properly.

You will pay the same money for an R6 with 30000 miles on it.

Those R6'r are fetching silly money now!

Honestly though,

WHAT A COMPLETLY GASH ADVERT
THE SELLER NEEDS TO LEARN TO SPELL
AND SPEAK ENGLISH
AND NOT TO USE CAPITALS BECAUSE IT MAKES IT ANNOYING TO READ

Don't even look at ebay adds that are written like that.

I actually look for adverts as crap as that because so many people are put off. I'll buy from a neanderthal inbred redneck if the item and price is right Laughing
