Anyone used it?

Saw it in wilkos, like a fuel additive that cleans your engine
I probably don't really need it, but i was tempted... Does the stuff work and can it mess up your engine if you screw it up?

Probably won't hurt, but you shouldn't need it with modern fuel.

I'll tell you what it does do, if you put it in your cylinder(s) and leave it for a few days then blow it out the plugholes and fire up, you get an amazing smoke cloud following you for miles. Thumbs UpWinkThumbs Up

I'll use my smoke grenades for that, at least then it can be bright blue Laughing

The Redex Engine Flush stuff is good! You put it in with the oil about an hour before you do an oil change, and it clears all the shit out of the engine. Makes it run a lot smoother (well, it did for me anyway), well worth checking out; especially if your bike has been sitting there for a while, or its been a few miles since your last oil change.

Its not totally pointless, i had a car that failed its MOT on emissions. Mostly i think down to the fact it had stood so long. i put in a fuel additive and drove it like i'd stolen it for an hour and hey presto the emissions were almost breathable Shocked
