All weathers except snow and when it's damp and drops below -3 at the same time. Purely a safety aspect.

Someone (I forget who) once said that there is no such thing as bad weather, only inappropriate clothing...

Ridden virtually every day since I started riding, including in bad weather (and the seriously strong winds we had a while ago). The only weather I'm not riding in now is snow/ice due to coming off twice in it the last time.

I'll give that another shot when I've got a bike that I don't mind seeing slide down the street.

Bike is my main transport. If I've gotta go out, I've gotta go out - no matter what the weather is.

Obviously if it's an optional errand/outing and it's bucketing down, then no, I'm not gonna go out if I can help it Razz

If parking at work was better I'd gladly reserve it for sunny days and take the car to work, as it is though I use the bike regardless of the weather (snow excluded).

In before some arse hole spews "real biker" and "fair weather" bullshit.

All year, but never in the rain, if it's too windy, or if it's below 2C if I can help it. I'm a fair weather rider and I don't care who knows!

Yeah I ride in all weathers - I have no problem with riding in strong wind / heavy rain etc. I enjoy riding in the fog, I find it challenging. I love riding on really sunny days... If i have the opportunity to be out on the bike... god knows i'm going to be out on the bike Wink Laughing

Been out in everything.

Only started riding in Oct so have only ever known bad weather/dark so now it feels weird riding in semi decent weather and in daylight

Ridden in hammering it down rain, -7, icey, snow, windy as hell (learnt a tip about countering the wind with a relaxed knee out on the wind direction side which seems to work...)

Just ride a bit more conservatively. I like to think the experience it's given me has helped me learn a lot quicker

i only ride on nice days these days, the bike is purely a toy/hobby and as such i don't want to be out in the pissing rain and wind, rather take the car with the heaters on.

The only time my bike gets washed is riding in the rain.

If i have planned to go somewhere and its wet i will still go but if i have no where really to go then i wont bother going out in the pissing rain. I have commuted with my bike during all sorts of weather, don't do ice or snow any more as i don't need to commute.

AWR

Public transport isn't for me and I've got to get to work. Ride like a loon when dry, basically the same in wet and I put it in second both feet just off the floor and sort of ski in the snow lol.
