An old post on here mentions a similar cdi as being restricted. What country is the bike from? I had 2, a UK and an Italian one.
The Italian ones are not CDI restricted.
it's right for foxeye (JC22) , but for older models (JC20) it's only 2 kinds of CDI : CI572 which is unrestricted and CI589C restricted
both are swapable direct
note : CI589C were sold in France,scandinavia,switzerland & germany
the CI572 were sold in UK & IRL,spain, italia
remenber: JC22 units have an added (white/green) wire which pilot the security stand , this is not the case on the JC20 which has a central stand ____________________ TZR250 2MA road, TZR250 1KT road, TZR250 2MA race, TDR250, YZF-750R Boost colours.
