This has most likely been done a few times but we've had newbs since and these little things are starting to affect me without using a vehicle.

Indicators, the lack of use should be shunt-worthy. If I could clip a car without insurance comeback because the sloppy dickwad hasn't indicated mine would be more hammered than a slapper on friday night - it doesn't take much to use them.

Going slow, I don't think I'm Lewis hamilton but jesus christ, doing 20 all the way through a 30 or 40 should be pointable - I want to make progress not follow someone so slow that I could eat a 3course meal at the same time.

Giving way, this week I couldn't count the amount of times that priority was mine on a street but vans and large cars whizzed passed me making me stop. The car's are parked on 'your' side you fuckwit, YOU can wait until I'm passed. Rolling Eyes

..some of these are to the point that resisting saying things to people isn't easy. This morning in B&Q some chap was walking at a snails pace in an aisle with no room to pass and I was hurrying along so as i went to pass and greet him with an excuse me he darted to his left where I was and stopped dead infront of me. prick. my remark was 'you're welcome; just stop with no thought to others why dont ya', he looked careless and carried on - fuckin' hate ignorance. Evil or Very Mad

What's with that? Why do people choose to do 20mph in a 30 or even 40 zone?!

It's so annoying.

Had a couple of bugs hit me in the eye earlier, I like having my visor up Crying or Very sad

Dicks who drive through thick fog with either no lights or sidelights on. Seems to be people who drive silver/white cars and vans who think that I can see them through the fog when they have zero lights.

Similarly people who drive with the fog lights on when its perfectly clear.

Bell-ends who stop at a junction using footbrake, thus blinding me with rear brake lights. Use the freakin handbrake - thats what its there for!!! Dick-wipes who see you approaching from behind, then drift out to the white line to stop you passing safely!
I just got back to Bolton from Shrewsury - excellent ride up the A49, but i acquired so many winged beasties! My visor is a Dipterists wet dream now!

Nearly got had by one of these on Friday. Was a real pea-souper here in the early morning with visibility just 10 or 15 yards. I stopped for fuel, pulled carefully out of the filling station and nearly got ploughed under by some knobber in a BMW with just his sidelights on. Only saw him about 15 yards away. He gave me a right snotty look so I pulled up alongside at the lights and knocked on his window, told him why I couldn't see him coming and he apologised and put his headlight on - yep, only one of them was working.

Agreed on all 3, but particularly the giving way part. Lots of giving way required in Bath, and people don't seem to realise that a bike can have right of way. Particularly on hills, if there is traffic on your side and you are coming down the hill, you fucking STOP.

People who wont move over to let you pass.
They can see you approaching with a fair bit of speed.
You start to slow, you get closer and closer.
Eventually you are 2ft off their arse.
There are 2 lanes. Move the fuck over.
They refuse to move.
Some fkin bellend in "parents paid for it" car!

Down a cog, scream past.

cunts.

I think i am starting to hate some bikers on the road.
They slow me down. They get in the way.
Everyone should get off the road cos its mine.

Bloody cyclists and I'm bloomin one of them!! Yesterday I was cycling up this hill, as I got to the top I could see a stopped cyclist adjusting his helmet at the side of the road. As I approached he just decided to pull out and set off. He never even looked behind to see what was coming I barley missed him. Admittedly I was only doing about 8mph (it was a steep hill) so the crash wouldn't have been very dramatic but my face didn't fancy an encounter with the tarmac.

People who feel an absolute need to overtake me just because im wearing l plates regardless of what speed im doing, case in point riding along a 30 limit im sitting at maybe 30-34, old guy who must have been in his 70's overtook me and then sat at the same speed as me Confused
Old people in general on the road.
Again the indicator thing but what really fucks me off is when people clearly see you waiting at the roundabout and STILL don't indicate when there turning left.
People that sit at 40 on an nsl road, then sit at 40 when they enter the 30 limit Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad
People that slow down, speed up, slow down, speed up wtf are they doing?.

Yeah, let's piss off a twat in 2 tonnes of metal while balancing on 2 wheels.

If they want to go faster, let'em go. If they turn out to be an angry twat, you're going to lose the bump fight. Leave them go be someone else's problem.

Or ride faster, you pussy Wink

It is!!
Alright, it's not, but my mate said he's pulled people over for going too slow before, telling them he could 'do them' for without due care.

Old people!!

3 weeks ago had one pull out on me and write off my ZX6R. The woman couldnt even read her own numberplate at 20 yards when asked by the copper. Mental.

Then out for a ride this weekend on my gixxer 750 with a friend on his r6 and an old bloke is in the left lane of a roundabout and just decides to go right without even changing lanes, cut up my mate and hit his side.

Im all for old people being able to drive, if they are ABLE TO DRIVE.

I think you should have to retake your test after your a certain age, maybe not so in-depth, just a sort of 'check-up'? Just to ensure that these people are as competent on the road as they were when they first passed. And if they are, I see no reason they should not be allowed on the road.

Today I bit, I turned off at some roundabout on our bypass in the morning rush hour only for some daft bint to dart across into my lane without indication so I had to hit my foot to the floor to avoid contact.

..then I thought fuck it, stopped dead, got out and shouted about her lack of indicators when she squeeked 'i did indicate'.... I raved at her (since her indicators NEVER fuckin flashed) asking if she touched them since, she said no, I asked why the fuck aren't they flashing then?!...awkward silence... I got back in mine, took 2 mins to start it again and carried on.

the entire junction was clogged with cars, grid lock. cars pipping, I just shouted a mass "fuuuck offf" and got 20 more beeps. Laughing I'm a twat.
