Cbr600 f2 1993 running a bit smokey? *Update Carbs stripped*

Recently brought a cbrf2 600 1993, 16000 miles lovely bike immaculate condition you wouldnt think it was 20 year old.
Before i aquired the bike it had not been used much in 3 years, I have taken it out twice and it seems to be runnning a tad smokey any suggestions?

The first thing I'd check is the oil level. A bit of over-enthusiastic filling could soon see it smoking.

The oil level appears to be on max atm, its not plumeing smoke or anything. I took it out last week for a ride and it stopped smoking. I took it out today and on my way back home today it started smoking again.

What I found with mine was that the choke wasn't returning fully.
The choke is actuated via a, long, metal strip, that bridges all the carbs, it was bent slightly so the chokes couldn't return fully.
Took it off, straightened it out, end of problem.

Think ive found the cause of the problem, I left the fuel tap on last night by mistake, and the carbs pissed out a tanks worth of petrol! :'( gutted. Two of the carbs have flooded and leaked So now iam going to have to get a carb kit for it anyone know where i can get one online?

I'd look for other issues too, my fuel tap on my old F2 was on at all times, and I never lost fuel.

Might want a fuel tap kit...not a carb kit.
Assuming its a vacuum tap, the diaphragm is probably worn.

Heya guys

Right so myself and father stipped down the carbs and also tested the fuel tap on the tank today.

We rigged the fuel tank up to the carbs today and turned the fuel on and it appeard that carbs 1 & 2 leaked from one on the jets when the fuel was on 3 & 4 were fine. So we were thinking that perhaps the seals on the needles had gone or perhaps some debris had become stuck on the seating.

Carb no. 2 had been flooding really badly and fuel had gone all the way down to the engine valves.

So we took off the float bowls off; all the floats were fine, there was some very fine sediment in the float bowls, and a few bits of grit nothing much (the carbs has been sonically cleaned about 2 years ago and the bike has been stored since that) There was more grit in Float bowls 3 & 4 and they did not leak at all.

The only think we can think of doing is changing the needles.

We reassembled the float bowls and rigged the tank back up and NO leaks.

Any suggestions?
