This is basically a question for the ladies but probably a few men on here too - since I remember a few weeks ago someone posted on here about wearing woman's gear.

But what I was wondering was; does it really matter if it is a men's jacket for example that a woman will wear? Will the 'fit' be correct?

My girlfriend seems to think that because she is a girl she needs girls clothing and I disagree.

The way that I see it, is that everyone in the world is a different shape and size, and therefore whatever fits best should be fine for her even if it was ended for men.

Example, someone who is a bit fat will wear a XL jacket the same as someone who is a bit tall will also wear a XL jacket.... see my logic, the same as people who are skinny and small, etc ?

There is more mens motorcycle clothing available, lots of different sizes, makes and variations of mens clothing plus you can pick lots more mens stuff up second hand and is cheaper so I think she should look at mens stuff too.

What's your opinions on this?

Ladies.....

Girls gear comes in at the waist and has room for tits and is smaller across the shoulders.
Dainty girls look ridiculous in mens gear.

I've worn male jackets because it was all I had at the time available, it fitted like a sack only worse.
I bought a Weise ladies jacket, fits like a sack of spuds too.
Trousers (textiles, Draggin etc) tend to not be a problem so much.
Mens Leather trousers = badly fitting legs, no hips, OK if your butt isn't too big Smile.
Ladies leather trousers fit better.
My winter coat is a mans size, but that's about being warm.
My FT leather jacket is a good fit (ladies).

Given the option, she would be better in female fitting clothes. We are shaped differently.

What size is she? Different brands have different sizings.
