The rebuildable ones I've seen and like an Armstrong I've got have had screws to hold the plate on, yours look like rivetted ends so can you actually buy a kit that fits for it ??

Only do it if it is slipping or not working at all.

But it is very easy. Undo the 2 screws, remove plate, remove mechanism, replace mechanism, replace cover.

No, that is a different type to the one I did.

You might be able to get a replacement centre wheel and the switch part online somewhere.

It's made in Japan.

Similar design to a Craftsman.
