Going past RAF Halton this morning, there was a load of RAF types going out for a wander.
They were all dressed in their MTP camo outfits, but with Hi-Viz tabbards over the top.

Rang up about a bike I was interested in, good price and says I will have first refusal so hopefully with have a nice KTM 690 SMC tomorrow this time. Also going camping in a few days on the bike down to the peaks for a DRZ meet up. All in all this should be a very good week... my poor bank balance though Crying or Very sad Insurance is 3 times as much on the KTM, but it is 5 years newer than my DRZ and over twice the HP Very Happy

Taxing the bike this morning.

Two men behind the counter in the post office, both wearing glasses and neither of them could see the insurance certificate.

I had to show them where it was.

Someone sponsored me EIGHT POUNDS! for my charity hitchhike, it's sunny as hell without a single cloud in the sky in Sheffield and I've finished Uni for the day.

Life could scarcely be better.

Will be picking up a nice cheap mountain bike this evening with which to enjoy the current weather.

Making a sale to the tune of £170 this evening.

Getting booked in with a well regarded tattoo artist this Sunday.

All have left me smiling for a change.

Riding my bike in this astonishing climate. Exchanging waves with other bikers - we all seem to wave around here. Yes, faaaaag, but it really does put a dapper start to my day so Middle Finger Middle Finger Dance!

As I pulled into a pay & display carpark at lunchtime, an old lady flagged me down and gave me her ticket. I passed it on as I left.

Went into a McVomits for lunch, got given a Monopoly instant win for a cheeseburger by a nice Moslem lady - she couldn't use it (haram), but she could just have chucked it away.

The love. It's spreading.

Maybe the world is starting to get less fucked Surprised

When I used to get the bus (Arriva) i'd buy a day ticket for something like £3.80 for getting work and back, after the trip home I always tried to pass it onto someone at the bus stop, if there was noone there i'd put it flat in the glass in the shelter for anyone to take.

I encourage everyone to do the same, fucking buses. Arriva are the worst for monopolosing and ramping up prices. Thumbs Up

Amusing how surprised some people were, "REALLY? Are you sure?!"
Well yeah, i'm going home now, like hell am I getting back on ANOTHER bus!! Laughing Laughing

You're a funny lot, all this niceness is simply because the sun is shining for the first time since November.

Normality will resume, don't you worry, they'll be someone moaning that its too hot, before Friday, and calling each other cunts across the traffic queue.

I smiled because, I managed to wake up painlessly at 1pm today (after a 7am finish at work), and have spent the day dossing around in the sunshine, going for a run, and basically just doing what the fuck I fancy. It made me smile because Spring has reminded me of why night shifts can be good. I've spent the entire winter cursing the very existence of them. Roll on another 7 months of this.

Cheers easy. Thumbs Up
