hi, I am aware that for newer licenses I have to take a further test for trailers over a certain size, does anybody have any more information about this?
Im into project bikes so need a trailer for transportation but I have only had my license a year.

750kg max weight I believe

If you have a Cat B license you can:

trailers weighing no more than 750kg

or

a trailer over more than 750kg where the combined weight of vehicle plus trailer is less than 3.5T

And the Maximum Authorised Mass of the trailer is less than the unladen weight of the towing vehicle.
