Following on from the 'not like it were in my day' thread, I need your help BCF in trying to identify a early 80' kids show (although there is a small chance I dreamt it as a child)..

OK so it was Australian. It was early 80's, probs before '84. It has a group of kids on BMX bikes (it is not BMX bandits the film). There was a group of baddies (I think adults were amongst them) who had some sort of club house that was a kind of bunker with a periscope. There was much to-ing and fro-ing in a rural type setting.

So was this a weird dream brought on by too many banjo bars and crispy pancakes, or does anyone remember what it might have been ??

Cheers elderly BCF dudes.

Nope, earlier than that, could even have been made in the late 70's if I remember the fashion details correctly...

Was it a show or a film?

If the latter it could have been BMX Bandits?

Did it have a very VERY young Nicole Kidman in?

could be secret valley?

A lot of Australian Kids TV was bought up and aired by ITV around 82 - 85, must've been a package deal with the australian soap-operas Smile

I remember a lot of the kids stuff was really weird, the best being Children of the Dog Star

..I'm still massively suspicious of weather vanes on barns Shocked

That is very much the fucker... thanks chap - glad I'm not going completely senile, and interestingly my description wasn't far off for something I saw when I was 7 Shocked

Children of the dog star was very cool too...
