head light query

hi all.just bought a second hand headlight for my rs 125.its a single head light and iv got the 3 pin box which plugs into your bulb but i have no bloody bulb!!my question is can i use any 3 pin bulb or will i have to try and track down the original bulb??i have the spring which holds it into place so that's not a problem.just the bulb!!

its sais it has replacement bulbs which i didnt see before.but i would like the really bright ones anyway

My guess is the bulb is a H4 bulb.

H4 bulbs have 1 earth and 2 lives, one for dipped beam, one for full beam. 1 bulb has thus 2 elements in it.

If I were you I would pop to poundland they sell them there, try one from there to make sure its fits before buying a good bulb.

The eBay listing states: 12v 25/25W bulb - so not H4.

Have you tried contacting the seller to ask what type of bulb fits? I can't see a suitable bulb listed in his 'Other Items'

My guess is a BA20D or MPF but at 25w, should be good for map reading
