Chances are you would either have to pay for a speed awareness course, fine or 3 points I believe. Not good

44mph in a 30 zone will almost certainly be a 3 points and fine (usually £60)

Agree. Above the "boundaries" for a speed awareness court I think. Don't quote me on that though.

Try taking it like a man. £60 fine and three points is not exactly a life sentence mate, you can still ride and everything. Insurance may get a bit steeper next year though.

Don't ride through bright yellow speed cameras at 14mph over the speed limit? Laughing

Just take it on chin.

Depends whether you're worried about going to prison for perverting the course of justice Rolling Eyes

MTFU! it's three points and a fine not a murder wrap.

Perverting the course of justice might equal jail time if you are unlucky. Failing to furnish the police with the riders information at the time also carries quite a hefty punishment. Off the top of my head it is something like 6 points and a fine of a couple of hundred quid? Whoever took it for a test ride should have been insured, it may be an offence to let someone ride your bike with no insurance. So they may throw that at you on top of the aforementioned punishments.

Man up, pay up and hopefully learn a lesson.

Sure, you could. Then they'll ask you for the name and address of the person riding it at that time. As far as I know, "Sorry mate, never asked the guy." will not float.

You did the speeding, you take the fine.

If you get points they will stay on your licence for 4yrs from date of offence.

If you get your full licence within those 4yrs your points will carry over.

be careful when you get a full car/bike license because if you get 6points in your first 2 years you have to re-sit your tests Exclamation .

btw you not try braking or try this next time Rolling Eyes
